Artist’s Statement
I have a profound respect for traditional forms handed down through generations of fine craftsmen. Moving away from purely utilitarian vessels, I have progressed to larger, more sculptural forms that incorporate alternative materials and include other mediums. I have redefined the role of basketry, beyond the obvious craft, and expanded the definition of sculpture.
