Artist Statement:
I started weaving with my husband in 2013 at our local weekend conference. Although I mostly enjoy weaving with items from nature - cedar, pine needles, grass, willow and bark - I enjoy using a wide variety of materials. I especially like to use the bits and pieces, leftovers from other projects, items in the orphan pile or scraps from my yard.
