Artist Statement:
The unlimited possibilities afforded by weaving appeals to me. Experimenting with materials that are out of the ordinary is exciting, so fishing line and metal continue to capture my attention. With these materials, I can just weave and see what happens. The variation in the weaving takes the feel of the vessel from smooth to rough while the two colors of fishing line appeal to me visually. The end result for this piece was exhilarating.
