Sue Muldoon is a seatweaver, basket weaver, web and graphic designer, and photographer. Her basketry started as an add-on to her seatweaving utilizing the small pieces she had left over. That was enough for her to catch the basket bug. Dyeing reed to match artwork to put into her basketry, she began weaving vibrant mixed media baskets. "Color is rampant and unapologetic" describes some work. Other pieces mix natural materials for a neutral palette. She is currently focusing on backpacks, messenger bags and purses as forms of wearable art. Frequent 3 am ideas quickly turn into finished products, inspired by nature and art. If it's a tangible, 3 dimensional piece or visual 2 dimensional project, Sue is happy creating in any form.
