It all started with a dream that I was creating bowls using beads. A few days later I was having lunch with a good friend of mine who told me that she had the strangest dream about me. Our dreams were nearly the same. I decided this must be a message from the spirits and I tried beading. This happened 25 years ago and I have loved it ever since. I could not figure out how you could string beads into bowls, so I started creating necklaces. I did that for several years. I like making big dramatic necklaces, but there is only so big a necklace can be, and I was obsessed with figuring out the bowl thing. It morphed into baskets. I now make sculptural wall hangings that combine basket and jewelry techniques in one piece.
