I have been a basketmaker since 1981, mostly self taught. In 2001 I joined the Northeast Basketmakers Guild and have continued to be active since then. In 2004 I was honored to be juried into the League of NH Craftsmen allowing me to exhibit and and sell through their galleries and the annual fair at Mt. Sunapee in NH. It has been a gratifying and encouraging experience to be part of such a talented group. I love rib basketry most because it allows me to be creative by creating sculptural styles as well as traditional baskets with a variety of materials.
