We collect information from you when you register on our site, pay the entry fee, or fill out an entry form. The registration form requests your name, e-mail address, and your city and state of residence.
What do we use your information for?
The information we collect from you will be used to create an entry in the online exhibit.
By submitting the forms on this website, you consent to having your name, city, state, and artist statement, as well as a photo and information about your entry, exhibited on the website.
We will not publish your email address on the website.
The email address you provide may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your entry, the online exhibit and occasional news about the National Basketry Organization. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server.
Secure online payment for the entry fee is handled by Square; NBO does not obtain or store your credit card information. More information about Square’s privacy and security policies is available here.

Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
